About SAROD
Symposium on Applied Aerodynamics and Design of Aerospace Vehicles (SAROD) is a platform to share the experiences of aerodynamicists involved in aerospace vehicle design in India as well as abroad. SAROD 2018 features a special focus on Stealth in Aerospace Design and also carrying forward the legacy of sharing a wealth of knowledge and expertise on wide range of Aerospace topics.
About Organizers
SAROD 2018 is being organized by ADA and Co-hosted by NAL and GTRE under the aegis of TAAI (Trust for Advancement of Aerodynamics in India).
ADA, Department of Defence R&D is the nodal agency for the design and development of Combat Aircrafts such as LCA Mk1 & Mk2 for Airforce and Navy, AMCA and other Stealth platforms.
GTRE is responsible for design and development of Gas Turbine engines for military applications such as KAVERI engine.
CSIR-NAL is involved in major aerospace programs in the country such as LCA, Space Launch Vehicles, Missiles, UAVs in addition to civil aviation such as SARAS program.
Call for Papers
Extended abstracts of technical papers for presentation at SAROD 2018 are sought from aerodynamicists in the areas listed below. The Extended Abstract must contain a minimum of two pages including authors’ affiliation and contact details. Submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed and authors of selected extended abstracts will be requested to submit full length papers. The papers would be published in the symposium proceedings. A pre-SAROD one day workshop would be conducted on “Stealth in Aerospace Design”
