RAIOps4Fin - Workshop on Applied Responsible AI Operations for Finance - aims to bridge the gap between Responsible AI principles and their practical implementation in financial services. As AI systems increasingly support high-stakes decisions in several areas, financial institutions must demonstrate not only performance, but also transparency, auditability, robustness, and alignment with evolving governance and regulatory expectations. Yet, while conceptual advances in fairness, explainability, and accountability continue to grow, the methods, tools, and operational controls needed to deploy them reliably in production remain fragmented and underdeveloped.
The workshop provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange real-world experiences, applied methods, and governance practices for engineering Responsible AI in financial systems. By bringing together experts facing similar operational and regulatory challenges, RAIOps4Fin seeks to foster collective learning, promote reusable solutions, and advance a more systematic, practice-oriented approach to Responsible AI deployment in finance.
Submission Guidelines
Submitted papers must follow the submission and formatting guidelines of the host ICAIF conference, according to ACM guidelines (Templates available here). Papers must be written in English and are limited to a maximum of 6 pages, excluding references. Papers are required to be submitted in PDF format.
Submissions should present original work that advances the practical deployment and operationalization of Responsible AI in real-world financial systems, helping to bridge the gap between RAI research and production-grade financial applications. We welcome contributions that address fairness, transparency, reliability, privacy, regulatory alignment, model risk management, stakeholder communication, and robust governance across the AI lifecycle. Papers with practical relevance, methodological rigor, and real-world impact are particularly encouraged, especially those presenting empirical evidence, actionable methodologies, deployed systems, reproducible tools, interdisciplinary perspectives, or lessons learned from financial applications, workflows, and governance processes.
