CALL FOR EXTENDED ABSTRACTS
Philosophy of Social Science Roundtable 2022
April 1-2, 2022
University of Nebraska, Lincoln
We welcome extended abstracts (between 600-1,200 words) for papers on any topic in philosophy of the social sciences or in the philosophy of social phenomena, especially those that tackle philosophical issues as they arise in, and are consequential for, practicing social scientists. We will assemble a two day program of workshop-format sessions so that intensive discussion can be the focus of the meeting.
As always, papers in all areas of the philosophy of social science are welcome. For this meeting the Roundtable is especially interested in papers that relate to social categories such as race and gender, as this will be the focus of the keynote lecture by Cailin O’Connor, Professor, Logic and Philosophy of Science, University of California, Irvine http://cailinoconnor.com/the-evolution-of-inequity/
