The PERFORMUS'19 - International Congress
It is organized by the Brazilian Association of Musical Performance – ABRAPEM. This will be the 7th edition in 2019, also hosting the 5th Colloquium of Ancient Music by EMAC-UFG and the 1st INTERMUS Research Symposium (Colombia). The PERFORMUS'19 will occur between October 23 and 26, 2019 with headquarters at the Federal Institute of Goiás, IFG-GO, with the central theme "PERFORMANCE MUSICAL IN CONNECTION: looking for possibilities of integrated artistic making with issues that guide the perspectives for the area in the world ".
The purpose of this event is to promote discussion and qualified debate on Musical Performance, to promote reflection and exchange of information on the perspectives of Performance Musical research, to collaborate in the dissemination of artistic and scientific production, to provide a research in musical performance and a great interchange between researchers and artists, teachers and students, administrators and institutions.
The event proposes activities that will contemplate various areas related to musical performance, namely: theoretical-reflexive, practical-artistic, technical and pedagogical and technological- sustainable environments. The importance and pertinence of bringing these discussions between the distant regions of Brazil and of these with South America and Europe is emphasized, offering access and expanding frontiers of research and discussions in music.
ABRAPEM PERFORMUS'19 Congress will consist of:
• Conferences, focusing on the main theme of the Congress, and a discussion session open toparticipants.
• Round tables, with discussion session open to participants.
• Research and Lecture-Recitals, for the presentation and discussion of ongoing and / or completed research.
• Music Performance, which will be selected by the artistic commission.
• Launch and dissemination of periodicals, books, magazines, scores, videos, CDs and other media related to Musical Performance.
• ABRAPEM General Assembly: a meeting organized to evaluate the activities developed, toplan the next events and the goals of the entity.
Target audience profile
Music Performers, Teachers of Graduate programs in music, undergraduate music performance teachers, conservatory teachers and music schools, artists-researchers, researchers, postgraduates, and graduates in musical performance and/or related fields.

Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following proposal categories are welcome:
- Communication Research - Results of work completed or presenting consistent partial analysis. The work submitted in this modality should consist of work originated from research, artistic production or experience (teaching, cultural production, scientific dissemination, for example, or case report). The text should clarify the problem, objectives, theoretical assumptions and procedures used, besides highlighting the final results (work completed), or preliminary analysis, and the conclusions obtained. The submission will be received in full text format (8 to 10 pages) as detailed below. Each communication will last for 25 minutes, 15 minutes for presentation of the work, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. In the act of submission, the authors must upload (upload), compulsorily, two electronic text files (in PDF format) with a maximum size of 5 MB.
- Lecture-Recital - The work submitted in this modality should consist in work originated from research, artistic production or experience (teaching, cultural production, scientific dissemination, for example, or case report). The text should clarify the problem, objectives, theoretical assumptions and procedures used, besides highlighting the final results (work completed), or preliminary analysis, and the conclusions obtained. The submission will be received in a single expanded abstract format (between 400-500 words) and will be received in definitive version corrected for publication in the Proceedings on a date defined in the published calendar. Each lecture will last 40 minutes, with 5 minutes of introduction, 20 minutes for the artistic presentation, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. The work originated from artistic production must necessarily involve a live presentation of the artistic production. This production must be linked to theoretical and practical reflections, in which the origin and procedures of the construction of artistic knowledge, as well as the presuppositions that sustain it, are made explicit. At the time of submission of the proposal, the authors must upload (upload), compulsorily, two electronic text files (in PDF format) with a maximum size of 5 MB
