The Oxford Computer Science Conference was established in the 1990’s and is the Department of Computer Science’s annual celebration of student projects, research by Masters and PhD students, and work by postdoctoral fellows.
Supported by industry partners and usually held in the Department, the conference is an excellent opportunity for students and early-career researchers to present their work to a broad audience. The conference is also a natural opportunity for students, researchers, and industry partners to discuss their work and future career plans.
The conference features cash prizes for best talk, best poster, and best abstract, with the winners being announced at a drinks reception at the end of the conference. In addition to talks and poster presentations, a keynote speaker or panel discusses cutting-edge findings or challenges in a specific area of computer science.

- Other: __________
- The submission should also indicate the preferred session type: presentation, lightning talk, or poster.
- The abstract should be a maximum of 200 words (not including the above information).
- We welcome submissions that have been published elsewhere.
- The abstract should convey:
- The research objectives and methods applied.
- The outcomes and limitations of the work.
- The context into which the results fit.
- While the language should be formal and technical, and need not cater to those with no computer science background, it should be possible for computer scientists in other research areas to glean the important information from the abstract.
