The big leaps in optoelectronic technology and academia have drawn increasing attention from the industry community which is always in searching of innovative solutions. IEEE Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC) was created to pave the way to connecting optoelectronic academia and industry as well as connecting China and the rest of the world.
2021 IEEE the 6th Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC 2021) will be held concurrently with the 23rd China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen, China, from August 31, 2021, to September 03, 2021. OGC 2021 is sponsored by IEEE Photonics Society and Guangzhou Photonics Chapter, hosted by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology.
The conference aims to promote interaction and exchange of various disciplines among professionals in academia and industry at home and abroad. In addition, it also serves to turn technologies into industrial applications. It’s expected that 300-500 professionals will attend the conference.
OGC will be an ideal platform for scholars, researchers and professionals to exchange insights and discuss the development of the optoelectronics industry. It will be a perfect gathering to learn about new perspectives, technologies and trends which might push the boundaries of the technology and eventually creates a broader future for optoelectronics applications.
9 symposia are being arranged in the conference with the topics covering precision optics, optical communications, lasers, infrared applications, and fiber sensors. Welcome the professionals, experts, managements and students from the universities, research institutions, military enterprises, and optoelectronic companies to attend the conference.
Submission Guidelines
Abstract
Accepted Abstracts will be invited to present at the conference, the abstract will not be published.
Full Papers
Accepted full papers presented at the conference will be published into the conference proceedings.
Important Notice
- English is the official language of the conference; the paper should be written and presented only in English.
- Only work that has not been previously published at the time of the conference will be considered.
- Prior to make the submission, please prepare your full paper or abstract according to the template. Full paper should be at least 4 pages under the format. Regular registration fee only covers one 5 pages paper. Additional pages will cost extra fees.
- The submission will be confirmed and assigned a Paper ID by the conference secretary from info@ieeeogc.com within 3 working days after submission.
Policies of OGC 2021 Review Process
- By submitting a paper to OGC, the authors agree to the review process and understand that papers undergo a peer-review process. Manuscripts will be reviewed by appropriately qualified experts in the field selected by the Conference Committee, who will give detailed comments and — if the submission gets accepted — the authors submit a revised ("camera-ready") version that takes into account this feedback.
- All papers are reviewed using a single-blind review process: authors declare their names and affiliations in the manuscript for the reviewers to see, but reviewers do not know each other's identities, nor do the authors receive information about who has reviewed their manuscript.
- The Committees of OGC 2021 invest great efforts in reviewing the papers submitted to the conference and organizing the sessions to enable the participants to gain maximum benefit.
Plagiarism
- OGC is utterly intolerant of plagiarism. Submitted papers are expected to contain original work executed by the authors with adequate, proper and scholarly citations to the work of others. It is the job of the authors to clearly identify both their own contribution(s) and also published results / techniques on which they depend or build. Reviewers are charged to ensure these standards are met.
- If the author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the following acts of sanction will be taken:1. Reject the article submitted or delete the article from the final publications.2. Report the author's violation to his/her supervisor(s) and affiliated institution(s)3. Report the author's violation to the appropriate overseeing office of academic ethics and research funding agency.4. Reserve the right to publish the author's name(s), the title of the article, the name(s) of the affiliated institution and the details of misconduct, etc. of the plagiarist”.
Dual/Double Submissions
- By submitting a manuscript to OGC, authors acknowledge that it has not been previously published or accepted for publication in substantially similar form in any peer-reviewed venue with publicly accessible papers, including journals, conferences, workshops, or other peer-reviewed, archival forums. Furthermore, no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another peer-reviewed conference or workshop with publicly accessible papers during the review period. The authors also attest that they did not submit a substantially similar submission to OGC 2021. Violation of any of these conditions will lead to rejection.
