12th OERC Energy & Climate Change Symposium
22rd & 23rd November Hutton Theatre, Otago Museum, Dunedin, New Zealand
In the context of accelerated climate change and the Zero Carbon Act in New Zealand, we welcome abstracts in all areas of:
- Energy
- Climate Change (Mitigation & Adaptation)
Confirmed keynote speakers (in alphabetical order) are:
- John Clark, GM Operations and Innovation, Transpower
- Dave Cull, Mayor of Dunedin
- Dave Frame, Professor of Climate Change, Victoria University of Wellington
- Bridget MacArthur, Greenwood Roche partner, Chair of the Energy Law Association
- Yolande Strengers, Associate Professor & co-leader Beyond Behaviour Research Program, RMIT University, Australia
Researchers, research students, members of industry and the wider community from all disciplines are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract. The breadth of disciplines and range of presenter backgrounds makes the annual OERC symposia both relevant and stimulating.
This year the symposium is organised in collaboration with Otago Climate Change Network (OCCNet).
$500 ‘Best student paper prizes’ have been generously sponsored by The Energy Law Association and Dunedin City Council.
Abstracts for should be submitted online through Easychair only. You will be invited to give either a presentation or a poster.
The deadline for abstract submission is Monday 24th September 2018.
