Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to invite you to submit your research to the International Workshop on Ontologies and Contextual Intelligence for Ambient Systems and Networks (OCIAN 2027), held in conjunction with the 18th International Conference on Ambient Systems, Networks and Technologies (ANT 2027).
April 13–15, 2027 | Delft, The Netherlands
Why OCIAN 2027?
Ambient systems are rapidly evolving from data-driven environments into intelligent systems capable of understanding context, interpreting situations, and reasoning about their surroundings. OCIAN 2027 provides a focused forum for researchers working at the intersection of ontologies, contextual intelligence, AI, IoT, semantic technologies, and ambient systems.
We particularly welcome original research papers, position papers, application papers, and emerging research studies addressing topics including:
• Ontology development and ontology-enhanced AI
• Context modeling, representation, acquisition, and interpretation
• Context-aware computing and decision making
• Semantic IoT and ontology-based IoT systems
• Knowledge graphs and knowledge representation for ambient systems
• Multimodal, temporal, spatial, and uncertain contextual data
• Semantic interoperability and semantic communication
• Human activity and behavior understanding
• Smart healthcare and assisted living
• Smart homes, buildings, and cities
• Knowledge representation and reasoning
