NIKT is an important national meeting place for researchers, teachers, masters and PhD students in information and communication technology, computer science, information science and information systems.
The academic content of the conference will consist of a number of peer reviewed articles that present new researches, supplemented by the contributions of four invited speakers on current topics in ICT research, innovation and education. In addition, held in conjunction with the conference, there will be a meeting of the national ICT fagråd as well as a number of thematic workshops.
All submitted research papers will be peer-reviewed, and accepted research papers will be published in the conference proceedings under their own ISSN numbers. These publications will award points at level 1.
The conference consists of four tracks:
NIK
NIK (Norwegian Informatics Conference) is a national conference for researchers and students interested in developing knowledge about applied and theoretical information technology.
We invite contributions to three categories:
- Research papers, up to 10 pages
- Work-in-progress papers, submission of new results, up to 4 pages
- Extended abstracts of previous published work, up to 2 pages.

NOKOBIT
NOKOBIT (Norwegian Conference for Organizations’ Use of Information Technology) is a national conference in information systems and information science focusing on topics related to the development, implementation and use of ICT in organizations, and social issues in ICT. NISK
The aim of the annual NISK conference series is to be the principal Norwegian venue for presenting new research and developments in the field of ICT security and privacy, and bringing together people from universities, industry, and public authorities. We invite both national and international contributions by researchers, practitioners, and PhD- and Master thesis students presenting new problems and solutions within topics on ICT security.
We invite contributions to three categories:
- Full papers: Full papers on research and development results (up to 16 pages)
- Short papers: Short reports, or position papers (up to 5 pages)
- Extended abstracts: Presents preliminary findings, innovative ideas, or practical insights, relevant to the conference topics (up to 2 pages)

UDIT
UDIT (Norwegian Conference for Education and Didactics in IT subjects) is a national conference for the discussion and exchange of experience related to teaching ICT in Norway. All topics related to education, teaching, didactics and the use of ICT in learning are welcome.
UDIT invites submissions of both research papers and extended abstracts. Research papers will undergo peer review according to academic criteria. Extended abstracts will be accepted based on their relevance to the conference.

Publication
The accepted and presented papers will be collected and published in the open access NIKT journal publication (level 1). The authors retain the copyrights to the published article except for this publication.
Venue
The conference will take place at Fredriksten Hotel and Østfold University College, Halden campus. Fredriksten Hotel is situated high above the center of Halden, yet it's just a pleasant walk away. The conference and the conference dinner will be held at the hotel on Tuesday and Wednesday. The historical tour will also start from the hotel on Tuesday afternoon. Workshops, meetings, and the reception on Monday will be held at Østfold University College, Halden campus. There will be a bus available to transport all participants between the hotel and the University College on Monday.
