Submission deadline: March 1st, 2019
Submission Guidelines
This workshop will provide the research community an opportunity to meet and share their research, vision and experience in the area of Molecular Communications across disciplines. Moreover, it will provide strategic development of Molecular Communications research in Europe with a focus on broadening the reach of the community into border disciplines.
The Workshop will run over three days, incorporating technical presentations of emerging research and results, tutorials on relevant topics and keynote speeches, as well as open debate panels.
Abstract submissions should follow the IEEE double-column format for conferences. Abstracts are limited to 2 pages including figures and references. All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Technical Program Committee. Submission should be done via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=molcom2020).
Selected technical abstracts will be invited to prepare an extended article for possible publication in a future special issue in a high ranking peer-reviewed journal. Submissions must state if the abstract is going to be extended to a journal or not.
List of Topics
The Workshop is inviting ABSTRACTS discussing recent ongoing research in three core thematic areas being:
- Theme 1 - Fundamental Molecular Communication: This theme focuses on leveraging communication theory
to either model the behavior of living systems or to design and analyze artificial molecular communication
systems. - Theme 2 - Applications of Molecular Communication: This theme focuses on applications in the area of
Drug delivery, Basic biophysics, Cellular communications, Medical, Environmental, Industry applications. - Theme 3 - Experimental Molecular Communication: This theme focuses on simulation tools/techniques and
experimental testbeds.
