The Workshop on Microwave Theory and Techniques in Wireless Communication (MTTW'22) is another continuation of a long tradition of holding communication workshops and conferences at the Riga Technical University. This year the Workshop will take place on October 5–7 and will be one of the fundamental activities of the annual celebration of the IEEE Day. A series of scientific events dedicated to the technological progress on the edge that takes place in the very center of the city of the 13th century on the shores of the Baltic Sea creates a unique atmosphere of conjugation of times. The Workshop has traditionally been a place of scientific acquaintance and fertile soil for many scientific, academic, and industrial projects nurtured in the fields of the Workshop.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge and supported by IEEE Latvia Section COM/MTT/AP Joint Society Chapter, IEEE Latvia Section, and Riga Technical University.

Submission Guidelines
The authors are invited to submit original full papers describing their scientific, engineering, or industrial contribution. The Proceedings of the Workshop are intended to be forwarded to the IEEE Xplore; therefore, the following requirements are set to the papers:
- do not be simultaneously submit the paper to another journal, conference, or workshop;
- use the passive voice when referring to previous outcomes, i.e., avoid 'we', 'our';
- limit the length of the paper to 4–6 pages;
- use LaTeX IEEEtran style or Word template;
- hand the paper in EasyChair as PDF using the link https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mttw22.
Note that only papers formatted according to these requirements will be peer-reviewed. The accepted article will be published only in the case of an in-person or remote presentation.
Publication
The Proceedings of the Workshop will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in SCOPUS and other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. The accepted article will be published only in the case of an in-person or remote presentation.
Venue
The Workshop will be held on the campus of Riga Technical University—the oldest and the largest Latvian technical university, at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications. Address: Āzenes street 12, Riga, Latvia LV-1048.
