Poster presentations typically include a mix of text graphics, data, images, and other material to illustrate the area of interest. Visual appeal and creativity in format are important in helping others understand your research.
In addition to the title and research content, your poster should include the name of the author(s), faculty mentor(s), and the name of your college, university, or other institution.
When submitting a poster, you will be asked to include the title and an abstract. An abstract is a brief (one paragraph) summary of the items below. Your poster will describe these factors in more detail:

- Why the topic is important to maritime risks
- Methedology, data sources, analysis, and conclusions
- Gaps or areas where more research is needed to understand and manage the issue
