Call for Abstracts / Posters

IV OPVC International Congress entitled “Looking at Crime: Communities and Physical Spaces” stands out for being the final congress of the LookCrim Project that was financed by NationalFunds through FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (PTDC / DIR-DCP / 28120/2017).

The LookCrim Project had as purpose of to analyze crime in a specific area (Historic Center of Porto) in an holistic, multifaceted and multisystemic perspective, through information from official statistics, self-report surveys, and observation of physical spaces, developed by a multidisciplinary team.

Deadlines for submitting abstracts (Posters):

Until September 30, 2021

Rules for the structure of abstracts(Posters):

1. Title, name(s) of the author(s) (first name and surname), institutional affiliation and respective e-mail addresses for contact

2. Abstract, in English, Portuguese or Spanish, not exceeding 300 words and including the following points:

Introduction

Method

Results

Conclusions

3. Indication of 3 keywords (keywords)

4. The abstracts must be original, not previously presented or published. The content of the abstract is the sole responsibility of the author (s)

5. The text should adopt the font Times New Roman, size 12, justified, spacing 1.5 pt between lines, recorded in Word format

Submission of abstracts (Posters):

1. The abstracts should be sent by easychair  ( https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lookcrim2021) until the September 30, 2021, at 24:00 hours

2. Notice of Acceptance / Rejection of the proposed poster will be made until October 9, 2021

3. After acceptance, the authors of the submitted work must register in the congress until October 16, 2021 - registration is mandatory but free - https://bit.ly/2SyGiRu

4. The poster must be sent by easychair  ( https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lookcrim2021) until October 23, 2021, in a PDF file, using a template given by the organizing committee.

Poster presentation:

1. The posters will be exhibited during colloquium, in a day and hour defined in a proper program of presentations

2. The presentation will take place online, by the first author of the poster.

3. The presentation will last from 5 to 7 minutes.
