LUCET 2026 (International Conference on Linguistic and Universal Cultural Evolution in the Era of Total Transformation) invites university lecturers and students to submit original research (e.g. reviews, reflections, and parts of broader projects) at the intersection of human expression and global change. As we stand at the crossroads of a comprehensive societal shift, especially in Vietnam, LUCET 2026 provides a forum to discuss how our languages and cultural identities are evolving, advancing, and being redefined for the next generation.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. LUCET 2026 strictly adheres to academic integrity and peer-review standards. The following paper categories are welcome:
Paper Categories
Full papers (4,000–6,000 words): We invite submissions describing mature research, comprehensive theoretical frameworks, or longitudinal studies related to linguistic shifts and cultural evolution. Full papers should present a clear methodology, robust data analysis, and a significant contribution to the understanding of how global transformation impacts human expression.
Short papers (2,000–3,500 words): Ideal for work-in-progress, pilot studies, or provocative new ideas that are still in the early stages of development but offer significant insight into the "advancing" nature of modern culture and language.
Submission Process & Formatting
To ensure a smooth review process, please adhere to the following requirements:
Language: All submissions must be in English to facilitate international review.
Format: All papers must be submitted in WORD (DOCX) format through the LUCET 2026 EasyChair submission portal or via this link.
Anonymization: As LUCET 2026 uses a blind review process, please remove all author names, affiliations, and identifying metadata from the initial submission file.
Template: Please use this style for your manuscript.
Use of AI tools: Authors who use AI tools to assist with language polishing, grammar checking, readability improvement, translation, or other writing-related purposes must disclose such use upon submission.
Authors are required to submit:
- the original draft of the manuscript prior to AI-assisted editing; and/or
- copies or records of the AI prompts and corresponding AI-generated responses used in the preparation or refinement of the manuscript (if applicable).
Failure to disclose substantial AI assistance may result in rejection of the submission or other editorial actions. AI tools may be used only to support language and presentation quality and must not replace the authors’ own scholarly contribution, interpretation, analysis, or critical thinking. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, ethical integrity, and final content of the manuscript.
