Call for Papers and Guidelines
We, the Members of the Editorial Committee of the Annual Research Symposium of the Faculty of Law for 2020, are delighted to announce the call for papers for our symposium which is designed to encourage the sharing of thoughts and reflections on an array of matters pertaining to law while also ensuring space to envisage what the varied manifestations of law would hold for our collective society locally, globally at the macro level and at other micro levels of society. Authors may submit papers covering doctrinal and pragmatic concerns of law viewed purely from a legal standpoint, a practical position, or from an inter-disciplinary approach.
THEME: This year, the symposium invites the submission of papers under the theme
‘Law At Crossroads: Reflections And Foresights’
One of the main objectives of this symposium is to provide academicians a platform to contemplate the role of law at contemporary crossroads. Authors may approach this through a wide range of topics, including impact of the ongoing pandemic, technological advancements, climate change, global and local socio-political instabilities, trade and economic conditions, family relations in modern society, individual and group rights, perspectives of gender, pedagogic concerns, and other public, private, commercial, international, and comparative aspects of law which are of significance at present.
We invite you to submit a short paper along with an abstract in accordance with guidelines set below. All papers will be subject to a blind-review process. To ensure a smooth review process, we encourage you to submit your papers at your earliest through the EasyChair Platform.
