KSE2017: The 9th International Conference on Knowledge and Systems Engineering Century Riverside Hotel Hue, 49 Le Loi st, Hue city, Viet Nam Hue, Viet Nam, October 19-21, 2017

The 9th KSE is an international forum for presentation, discussion, and exchange of the state-of-the-art research, development, and applications in the field of knowledge and systems engineering. The main objective of the KSE is to bring together researchers, practitioners and students not only to share research results and practical applications but also to foster collaboration in research and education in the field. The KSE this year, will be held in Hue city, an ancient capital of Vietnam, during October 19-21 and will be co-organized by Hue University of Education (HUE), Hue University of Sciences (HUS), and VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET).

The organizers of the conference invite the submissions on the following main topics, but not limited to:

Along with the main conference, KSE will also host special sessions on big data analytics, bioinformatics and computational biology, image processing and pattern recognition, and so on.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit papers of up to 6 pages, written in English, in PDF format and compliant with the IEEE standard (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html).  All papers must be original contributions and not previously published, nor currently under consideration, for publication elsewhere.  Papers should be submitted through the easy-chair conference submission system at

Submitted papers (for both regular and special sessions) are subject to a blind reviewed process handled by an international technical program committee. An author of an accepted paper must be registered at full rate (member or non-member of the IEEE) prior to uploading the camera-ready version.  Accepted and presented papers will be included in the IEEExplore Digital Library. The IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Publication

The proceedings will be published by IEEE and be available at the conference. A selected number of accepted and personally presented papers will be expanded and revised for possible inclusion in special issues in high quality scientific journals including: Vietnam Journal of Computer Science, Journal of Information and Telecommunication (JIT), and an ISI journal.

Venue

The conference will be held in Century Riverside Hotel Hue, with its 135 rooms, is located in a vast area of 20,000 square meters. It is surrounded by a garden full of fruit trees, various kinds of flowers and a green pasture looking alike a resort. Hue Century Riverside Hotel lies by the side of Truong Tien Bridge and the bank of the romantic Huong River.
