JBIC European Regional Symposium 2020 is the annual meeting of the Joanna Briggs Institute from the European Region.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Abstract submission: deadline 14th of February 2020
Abstract notification: 28th of February 2020

Abstract submission guidelines
Abstracts must be submitted online via
- Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Presenting authors must be registered participants. Only abstracts of authors who have registered by March 30, 2020 will be scheduled for presentation and included for publication.
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to its submission, before submitting the abstract.
- Accepted abstracts will be eligible for short communications published in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Evicence-Based Healthcare.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Abstract submitters will be required to disclose any conflict of interests in the submission form.
Abstract preparation guideline

- Full first and family name(s)
- Email address
- Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country
- Phone number
- Author and co-authors’ details
- Preferred Presentation type: You can choose to have your abstract considered for both Oral and Poster presentation, or for Poster presentation only. All presentations must be written and presented in English.
- Abstract title – must be in UPPER CASE and limited to 25 words.
- Abstract text - limited to 250 words including acknowledgements and structured as follows:

- Results:
- Conclusions:
- Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
- Use generic names of drugs if applicable.
- Submissions must contain no identifying information.
- You will receive a notification via email after you have submitted your abstract. Please refer to this notification in all correspondence regarding the abstract.
