The eighth International Workshop on Signal Design and its Applications in Communications (IWSDA’17) will be held at Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan on September 24 – 28, 2017. The IWSDA workshop series dates back to September 2001 in Chengdu, China, and since 2005 has been held every 2 years in Yamaguchi, Japan, Chengdu, China, Fukuoka, Japan, Guilin China, Tokyo, Japan and Bengaluru, India. The aim of the workshop series is to foster fruitful interactions among signal designers, coding theorists, cryptographic researchers and communications practitioners from all over the world.

Submission Guidelines
Papers presenting new results in the above areas are hereby solicited. Only electronic submissions via the conference website in PDF formats are accepted. Each submission must be at most 5 pages in length and conform to the double-column IEEE conference proceedings format (style file and templates can be downloaded from the conference website).
