We are glad to inform you that the joint 2020 International Workshop on Bionic Engineering (IWBE 2020) and the 4th International Workshop on Biorobotics & Bioengineering (IWBB) organized by the International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE) and the University of Manchester will be held in Manchester, UK, June 10-12, 2020.

The attendees in the workshop will present and discuss new progresses and ideas largely in Biorobotics & Bionic Healthcare Engineering. The workshop will focus on but not limited to the following topics:

• Biomimetic surfaces
• Biomimetic machinery
• Biomimetic materials
• Bionic healthcare engineering
• Biologically inspired robotics
• Life-like sensing, actuation and computation
• Biomimetic design methodologies
