List of Topics
Broadly, theme of the ISSF events is “Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Energy, Environment and Development (SEED).” ISSF-2021 will cover national and international concepts, methodology, case studies, action and advocacy on sustainability aspects of energy and environment sectors. Within its broad theme, among others, following topics will be covered.
- Problems of Local Ecosystems and Pollution of Air, Water, and Solid Waste and their possible solutions.
- Issues of Global Importance with particular focus on Greenhouse Gas Emissions and resulting Global Warming and other Climate Changes and their Impacts;
- Socio-Economic Dimension of Energy and Environment; Natural Resource Accounting; Trade and Environment Linkages;
- Role of various stake holders in SEED including Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility;
- Challenges of and Possible Solutions for Pollution Prevention and Control including economic and technological measures; and,
- Sustainable Production and Consumption and Tools for Assessment of Sustainability including the LCA.
Publication
ISSF-2021 proceedings will be published in :
- Proceedings of ISSF that may contain speeches and presentations
- IJSI- An interdisciplinary peer reviewed international journal, that may publish some of the papers presented at the ISSF, and, after review process
- Savitarka- An E-Magazine on Development Issues, that may publish speeches and presentations, which have a potential of creating a mass awareness and policy impact
