Submission link | https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=isre2020 |
Rehabilitation engineering provides development of technological solutions and devices to assists individuals with disabilities and it also supports the recovery of disabled peoples who have lost their physical and cognitive functions. These systems can be designed and build to meet a wide range of needs that can help individuals with mobility, communication, vision, hearing and cognition. These tools or devices will help disabled for their day-to-day activities related to living, education and employment. It also includes stylish brain computer interfaces that allow a rigorously disabled individual to operate gazettes simply by thinking about the assignment they want to perform.
Intelligent systems has wide range of approaches and technological development which will enhance the research in the field of Rehabilitation engineering. The growing technological developments in Machine learning, Deep Learning, Robotics, Virtual Intelligence etc. plays an important role in Rehabilitation Engineering.
This book will focus on trending research of intelligent systems in rehabilitation engineering which involves the design and development of innovative technologies and techniques including Rehabilitation robotics, visual rehabilitation, Physical prosthetics, Brain Computer Interfaces, sensory rehabilitation, motion rehabilitation etc. The main objective of this book is to provide insights on the role of intelligent systems in Rehabilitation Engineering.
The material in the book can serve as reference in libraries, accreditation agencies, government agencies and especially academic institution of higher education intending to launch or reform their engineering curriculum.
