Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full Papers: Describing substantial, original research findings, theoretical frameworks, or philosophical analyses related to the symposium themes. Submissions may be complete papers(approx. 9,000 words) or extended abstracts (approx. 1,000 words).
List of Topics
- In Commemoration of the Physics Ideas and Contributions of Professor Chen-Ning Yang: Reflections on the philosophical implications of Yang’s contributions (e.g., gauge theory, statistical mechanics) and their enduring impact on the philosophy of science.
- The Fundamentals and Philosophical Issues in Quantum Physics: Ontological and epistemological analyses of core concepts like superposition, entanglement, and the measurement problem, focusing on the nature of reality and causality.
- Frontier Philosophical Issues in Quantum Information Technology: Exploring how quantum computing and algorithms reshape our understanding of information, complexity, and the Church-Turing thesis.
- Ethical Issues Based on Quantum, Intelligence, and Life Sciences: Ethical inquiries at the intersection of these frontiers, addressing AI safety, bioethics, and the societal risks of quantum technology.
- Logical Permeationism: Investigating whether unified logical principles permeate diverse scientific domains (physics, biology, AI) or if each field requires a unique logical foundation.
