ISMIS provides a forum for sharing research results and promoting the transfer of scientific advances to industrial and socio-economic applications. The 2026 edition focuses on two key themes: the evaluation of AI explainability and the principles of responsible AI. With this focus, ISMIS 2026 addresses the challenges of developing fair, ethical, and trustworthy AI systems that are understandable to humans, can operate in complex real-world and social environments, are resilient to cyber-threats, and align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.Relevant conference topics include, but are not limited to:

Authors are invited to submit their original unpublished papers that demonstrate current research on one of the session topics of interest. Papers should be prepared in PDF form using the Springer LNCS/LNAI style (max 10 pages) and submitted via https://easychair.org/conferences?conf=ismis2026
All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three ISMIS PC members.
