The program committee welcomes the submission of abstracts to be considered for oral or poster presentation at the International Society for Evolution, Medicine and Public Health Fifth Annual Meeting, August 13-16, 2019 in Zurich. Abstracts will be selected by the Program Committee based on academic and/or clinical relevance. Abstract submission opens November 15, 2018 and closes April 1, 2019 Meeting registration, a separate process, is required for consideration of abstracts. Registrations cancelled by July 1, 2019 will receive a full refund (except for processing fees). Abstracts must be less than 300 words. Submitting an abstract gives your permission to publish it in the Society's journal, Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health.
ISEMPH 2019 will gather delegates from around the world. It follows in the footsteps of successful previous meetings in Tempe, Arizona; Durham, North Carolina; Groningen, The Netherlands and Park City, Utah. ISEMPH 2019 is profoundly interdisciplinary and emphasizes the multiple interfaces between evolutionary biology and human health in the complementary fields of medicine, evolutionary biology, anthropology, evolutionary psychology, behavioral ecology and epidemiology. The meetings particularly welcome students and clinicians at all stages of professional development
