Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Scientific papers
- These are the regular “technical papers” as in previous ISARC.
- It stresses stronger requirements on scientific contributions and the intellectual merits of the accepted papers.
- Included in annual ISARC proceedings (available online at no cost) and Scopus listing
- Recommended length: 6~8 pages, including references.
- Short papers
- To attract more industry attendance to ISARC, we introduce this new type of paper with a higher focus on practical applications and case studies in real construction projects
- This type of paper is more friendly for case study papers or industry submissions.
- This is similar to extended abstracts or industry papers in other conferences.
- Included in annual ISARC proceedings (available online at no cost) and Scopus listing
- Recommended length: no more than 4 pages, including references.
You can download the templates for papers and Copyright Transfer Agreement at: https://www.iaarc.org/symposia/author-instructions
The IAARC review and publication process follows stable, fair, transparent, and objective standard procedures that comply with quality requirements set out by databases such as Scopus.
Authors and reviewers are required to take note of and comply with the following:
- Paper quality and review criteria (ISARC Review Criteria and Review Forms)
- Each paper will be assigned to at least 2 reviewers (Area Chairs)
- Selection and ranking process: based on the objectively determined quality of each paper, papers will be ranked/selected/assigned/etc. (Technical Chairs)
- Reviewers will be asked to declare potential conflicts of interest
- ISARC Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement
- Papers will be published as part of the ISARC proceeding series (ISSN 2413-5844)
- Proceedings and paper will be published Open Access through the repository ISARC Proceedings (in order to increase reach and searchability we plan to provide them to other repositories as well).
