Book Title: Ontology Based Information Retrieval for Health Care Systems
Publisher: Scrivener Publishing, Wiley
Submission Guidelines
Healthcare is one of the finest represented subject areas on the Semantic Web currently. Textual query is transformed into a set of representative concepts matched to the indexed documents. End users still have to search for apt documents manually. Hence, the detection of pertinent information becomes a critical task. This book is an attempt to highlight the key advances in ontology-based information retrieval techniques especially being applied in the healthcare domain. The varied chapters attempt to uncover the current challenges in the application of ontology-based information retrieval techniques to the healthcare systems. The book shall be a first of its kind that shall highlight only the ontology driven information retrieval mechanisms and techniques being applied to healthcare as well as clinical information systems. The book can serve as a potential textbook for courses in healthcare systems as well as technologies. It can also serve as a reference book to medical practitioners as well as researchers involved in implementing as well as providing customized health care solutions to patients.
Proposed Table of Contents
· Keyword-Based Medical Information Retrieval for Healthcare: The Challenges
· Need of Ontology Based Systems in HealthCare System
· Ontology Based Query Retrieval Support for e-Health Implementation
· Ontologies as a Database Management System Technology for Medical Information Retrieval
· Information Integration Using Contextual Knowledge and Ontology Merging
· Collaborative Ontology based Information Indexing and Retrieval in Health Informatics
· An Ontology-based Text Mining Framework for Vulnerability Assessment in Health and Social Care
· An Ontology-based Multi-agent System for Matchmaking Patient healthcare monitoring
· A multi-agent system for querying heterogeneous data sources with ontologies for Reducing Cost of Customized Healthcare Systems
· A methodology for ontology based multi agent systems development
· Ontology Based Systems for Clinical Systems: Validity, ethics and regulation
· Semantic Data Integration in E-Health Care System
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before 30th May, 2019, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by 10th June, 2019 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by 05th September, 2019. The minimum length of the chapter should not be less than 20-25 pages (7,000 to 10,000 words). The full chapter includes Title of paper, Authors Name, Authors affiliations, email ID, Corresponding author details, department, Authors Bio, etc. with (Font Size 12, Font Style: Times New Roman, Line Space: 1 Point, Headings: 12+Bold) with APA reference style. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
