PHILIPPINE SOCIETY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EDUCATORS – CENTRAL LUZON (PSITE – CL)
invites you to the
International Research Conference on Information Technology Education
The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) – Central Luzon (Region III) will be hosting the annual International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2023 on May 5, 2023, at Bataan People’s Gym, Balanga City in the province of Bataan.
PSITE, being the nation’s largest professional IT organization, hosts from time to time, several educational technology conventions and conferences. It is an organization with great diversity that supports members and affiliates with an array of professional learning and collaborative networking opportunities as they face the challenge of innovation and transforming education.
IRCITE 2023 aims to engage the faculty and students in constructive dialogue on critical issues in IT, waves of technological advances, leadership qualities, teamwork, and collaborations. At least 1,500+ students and faculty members from different schools in the region and international delegates will convene along with experts, young professionals, leaders, and advocates.
Different institutions faced different development paths over the centuries, caused by changes in the competitive environment and the ability to respond to these changes specifically in the pandemic time. Such changes and choices can be analyzed from the perspective of innovation waves, responsible for changing the current structure and presenting a new competitive set-up for the world. By observing the existing waves of innovation, we can see a significant jump in development for companies and global education systems. PSITE - Central Luzon has never halted in finding ways to ascend and bridge new learning for these changes and it will continue to thrive to innovate not just only in research but in the IT education ecosystem.
PSITE - CL has organized the IRCITE ‘23 in an in-person event, as an active response to bring back the usual dynamic involvement before the pandemic. The event will be participated in by students from all academic levels including graduate and undergraduate programs engaged in research. In addition to the research presentation, the conference provides a venue for students and faculty to interact in a roundtable discussion on emerging technologies and breakthrough innovations while participating in social activities and skills competitions.
The conference includes plenary and break-out sessions divided into area of research concentration. The topics include, but are not limited to the following:
