About the Book:
In recent years, we have observed a drastic growth in multimedia data. Even in the present pandemic situation of Covid-19, we can observe that the images are helping doctors in fast detection of Covid-19 infection in patients. There are many critical applications where images play a vital role. Some of those applications include the medical industry, astronomy, physics, chemistry, forensics, remote sensing, manufacturing, and defense. These applications use raw image data to extract some useful information about the world around us. Quick extraction of valuable information from raw images is one challenge that academicians and professionals face nowadays. This is where image processing comes into action. Image processing's primary purpose is to get an enhanced image or extract some useful information from it. Therefore, there is a major need for some technique or system that addresses this challenge.
In the past few years, Intelligent Systems have emerged as a solution to address quick image information extraction. In simple words, an Intelligent System can be defined as a mathematical model that adapts itself to deal with the problems' dynamicity. These systems learn how to act so it can reach their objectives. Intelligent System helps accomplish various image processing functions like enhancement, segmentation, reconstruction, object detection, and morphing. The advent of Intelligent Systems in the image processing field has leveraged many critical applications for humankind. These critical applications include factory automation, biomedical imaging analysis, and decision-econometrics. To this end, the book will aim to highlight the challenges faced by Intelligent Systems and present the recent developments done to address those challenges.

- A proposal for the book chapter is needed from prospective authors before the proposal submission due date, describing the objective, scope, and structure of the proposed chapter. Proposal (Extended abstract) in 500 words with title and list of authors. The Abstract need to mail to the editor(s) by the date mentioned in the above tab.
- The formatting of manuscripts should follow: A4 page format, single column with 11 point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing, while submitting your manuscript as a Microsoft Office Word document. Use the number referencing style is usually used for regular research papers, NOT APA style.
- Article of 15-20 pages should be submitted for a single chapter.
- Authors must provide a chapter abstract (approximately 150-200 words each).
- Original articles with significant contributions from the Author(s) will be the major consideration for shortlisting the received chapters.
- We are collaborating with an international publisher, it is mandatory that emphasis should be given for the correct use of English in the chapters. Use online grammar checking tools like ginger or Grammarly.
- The title of the chapter should be concise, precise and should clearly state the main aim of the chapter. It must correlate to the proposed book chapter titles conveyed during the call of book chapter submission. Editors will arrange the chapters in a sequence so that they must be well synchronized and are in line with the title of the book. Thus, the title of the chapters can be re-framed to go well with the theme of the book, if required.
- Figures should NOT be copied from different websites or research articles. If they are copied, please add a reference or re-draw the diagrams.
- If you incorporate in the Work any material from third parties, then you have to take permission in writing from each copyright holder of such material to use and reprint such material in the Work consistent with the terms of the rights.
