Submission Guidelines
Submission categories:
We welcome papers in the following categories:
a) Research papers
b) Review/Conceptual papers
c) Work-in-progress papers/ Poster presentations.
Research scholars should clearly identify the type of paper they plan to submit and prepare accordingly. The following guidelines can be used to decide the category of paper.
a) Research Papers
Papers with novel concepts, innovative methodologies or applying archival methodology to a new disciplinary context are invited as research paper submissions.
b) Review/Conceptual Papers
Review papers should succinctly put forth existing work in a particular area. This would entail positioning of the review paper with respect to other review papers in the same research area. Authors are also expected to provide justification of research questions/gaps that compelled review in the chosen domain along with rationale for methodology.
Conceptual papers are expected to present an original concept while synthesizing knowledge in the research area and serving as the catalyst for future studies. The article should focus on knowledge to fill existing gaps in literature.
c) Work-in-Progress Papers/ Poster presentation
Articles with ongoing work that is not yet complete, but has sufficient rigour/ novel contribution to extant body of literature can be submitted as work-in-progress papers.
Poster Presentation
Articles submitted in all the three categories will be considered eligible for poster presentation. The decision on 'which papers will be presented for poster presentation’ will be taken by the reviewers and faculty coordinators of research symposium. We will be unable to entertain any submission in the form of poster beforehand.
If chosen for poster presentation, scholars will need to record a video of 3 5 minutes and send their posters in PPTx format to present their work. Post their video poster presentation, scholars will be required to address questions as part of the Q&A session.
