The Organizing Committee wants to thank all participants in this 3rd Edition of ICoWEFS for having attended the conference and for your understanding, namely in what respects lack of communication, mostly due to the cyber attack we were aim.Due to this, the check-in of the registrations is not, still, possible and, so, the payments. This fact is, also, delaying the process of publishing the papers in Springer.

Thank all authors for sending us the asked copyright forms, which in conjunction with closed payments, are indispensable to publish.In a few days the Organization will proceed to the emission of the due certificates.

The ICoWEFS 2023 Conference updated PROGRAM and other information are available here. The authors can attend the online conference through Z00M Meetings. Z00M Meeting ID and password were sent by email.

Dear participants, since the problems subsist, an archived version of our webpage is available here. Note that this page is not anymore updated since 28 April 2023 and the links inside are not working (i.e. registration). The registration platform is not available, so all the authors that submitted papers will be invited to access the conference. However, authors must register to have the papers published. The authors that are not registered will be invited to register as soon as the platform is available.

The International Conference on Water Energy Food and Sustainability (ICoWEFS 2023), taking place in Leiria (May 10-12, 2023), Portugal, aims to be a major forum to foster innovation and exchange knowledge in the water-energy-food nexus, embracing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, bringing together leading academics, researchers and industrial experts. The conference expects to foster networking and collaboration among participants to advance the knowledge and identify major trends in the abovementioned fields.

The conference will be held in a mix modality: in-person and on-line

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

All submissions will be peer reviewed and the accepted papers will be published by Springer, with ISBN, in a conference proceedings ebook. These papers are also Indexed and DOI assigned. A link to the conference proceedings ebook will be delivered to the delegates upon registration.
