Welcome to the official website of the 2022 the 5th International Conference on Intelligent Autonomous Systems (ICoIAS 2022). The conference will be held during September 23-25, 2022 at Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China. The conference is hosted by Dalian Maritime University, China.
ICoIAS 2022 marks the 5th Anniversary of the ICoIAS conferences. The ICoIAS provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, engineers and educators throughout the world to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Intelligent Autonomous Systems.
Nowadays, autonomous systems play an increasingly important role in both control and engineering applications. For example, autonomous robots have been employed in assembly lines, construction sites and even at home resulting a big impact to our daily life. As another example, unmanned aerial, ground, surface and underwater systems have been deployed to execute various challenging tasks in difficult terrains. However, autonomous systems are usually featured with dynamics coupling, actuator saturation, under-actuated structure, time-varying disturbance, etc., and thereby presenting great challenges and difficulties in system analysis and controller design. Recently, by employing intelligent approaches, advanced control methodologies for autonomous systems have been proposed and rapidly developed.
The ICoIAS’2022 will provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for scientists, researchers, engineers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of IAS.
Submission Guidelines
We welcome contributions through research papers and industrial reports/case studies on applications in form of regular papers of over 4 pages, double-column style as template, which will be presented in oral presentations. In addition, we welcome abstracts & papers which will be presented in informal presentation sessions. Accepted submissions include:
Full Paper (Presentation and Publication)Accepted full paper will be invited to give the oral presentation at the conference and be published in the conference proceeding.
Abstract (Presentation only)Accepted abstract will be invited to give the oral presentation or poster presentation at the conference, the abstract will not be published.
Please download the Template as below:
Papers will be accepted based on the relevance, novelty, and impact of the contribution, as well as the quality of writing and presentation. Authors are encouraged to include all traditional parts of a scientific paper: introduction, motivation, related work, assumptions, verification and validation, conclusions and references. As a general rule, papers that only document source code will be rejected.Papers will undergo a regular peer review process which will be lead by the program chair.
General Guidelines (Draft Papers)
Prospective authors are invited to submit their draft paper (over 4 pages, standard 2 column as template style) (file size limitation: 5.0 MB). Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for presentation or publication elsewhere. Please follow the formatting instructions for the draft paper:
1.Paper Length: Minimum 4 pages, including figures, tables & references

Violations of any of the above paper specifications may result in rejection of your paper!
Article acceptance requirements
All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the following acts of sanction will be taken:
1. Reject the article submitted or delete the article from the final publications.
2. Report the authors violation to his/her supervisor(s) and affiliated institution(s)
3. Report the authors violation to the appropriate overseeing office of academic ethics and research funding agency.
4. Reserve the right to publish the authors name(s), the title of the article, the name(s) of the affiliated institution and the details of misconduct, etc. of the plagiarist”.
