1st International Conference on Rural Tourism – Challenges, Scope and Entrepreneurship Development on 24-27 April 2020 at DIT University Dehradun Uttarakhand (India) will be organized during 24th April - 27th April 2020 by Centre for Policy and Leadership Development (CPLD), Vardering India, Uttarakhand in collaboration with DIT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

Important Note: Industry participants, Research Scholars and Academician from other disciplines offering new perspectives on the conference theme are also encouraged to participate.
Rural Tourism focuses on actively participating in a rural lifestyle. It can be a variant of Ecotourism. The idea of community ecotourism is placing the tourism activities in the hands of the local community. It addresses the needs of the tourism businesses to minimize negative impacts and maximize positive impacts in all three parts of the community – social, economic, and environmental.
The post conference events include visits to natural beauty of Himalayan Ranges and camping to understand local and rural life as a gesture of “Global Need of the Time”.
The 1st International Conference on “Sustainable Rural Tourism – Challenges and Scope” aims to become the leading annual conference in fields related to New Destination, Rural Tourism, and Spiritual Tourism etc. The goal of CPLD is to gather professionals and scholars from all over the world to present advances in the fields of tourism to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This conference will also provide an ideal environment to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products of the mentioned fields.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers describing actual contribution on the theme of the conference. Digital Technology, Tourism, Business, Management, Engineering application for the tourism, entrepreneriual scope and challeges in the rural toruism etc.
- Posters describing the research work contributed by the authors.
- Abstracts minimum 300 words and maximum 800 words.

- Paper Submission by: 25 Feb 2020
- Acceptance by: 28 Feb 2020
- All accepted Abstracts for Oral or Poster presentation will be publish in the proceedings.
- Few selected article will be considered for the Scopus Journal subject to full filling the criteria and terms of the journal and conference committee.
