International Conference on Reliability Safety and Hazard (ICRESH) is a major forum under the aegis of Society for Reliability & Safety (SRESA) for deliberating on the latest developments in Reliability Engineering and Probabilistic Safety Assessment. The objective is to present ideas and discuss future R&D requirements for development and application of risk-based approach to management of complex systems such as nuclear plants, space and aviation, transportation, software systems and process plants. The earlier two conferences, ICRESH-2005 and ICRESH-2010 were held in Mumbai and ICRESH-2015 was held at Lulea Technological University, Lulea, Sweden. These conferences were attended by over 200 delegates from reputed labs and universities in India and abroad with more than 25 delegates from countries like USA, UK, Germany, Russia, Netherlands, South Korea, etc. About 130 papers, 30 invited talks and keynote addresses marked the proceedings of the conference. A noteworthy feature of the conference is that the proceedings is made available before the conference commences. The proceedings of ICRESH-2010 were jointly published by IEEE Reliability Society. Some of the selected papers will be published in the International Journal of Life Cycle Reliability Engineering (Springer), a well-known journal of SRESA.
The current edition ICRESH-2019 is being jointly organized by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, Indian Institute of Technology Madras and the SRESA during 10-13 January 2019 in IITM, Chennai. The conference invites high quality original research and technical contributions for publication in the conference proceedings.
