The pervasiveness of digital technologies and Internet has transformed the educational landscape. Teachers, practitioners, and policy makers have been seeking for ways to innovate classrooms with digital technologies. The demands for quality teaching and learning experiences and the needs to empower students as knowledge seekers and contributors have positioned educators and policy makers at the forefront of innovation and knowledge sharing. Thus, exploring the transformative potential of digital technologies for lifelong learning, reinventing ways to increase student engagement and learning experiences, and evaluating the application of digital technologies in society are crucial in this digital technology era. The conference will be conducted entirely in English.
OBJECTIVES
The International Conference on Learning Technologies aims to:
- encourage and foster discussions among teachers, practitioners, policy makers, and those who are interested in the application of learning technologies for education,
- provide an avenue for teachers, practitioners, policy makers to share best practices, teaching experiences, and policies to increase student engagement and achievement through the use of digital technologies,
- provide a practical forum for educators and practitioners who are interested in exploring the potential of technologies to transform the educational landscape.

KRISTINE BLAIR is Professor of English and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at Youngstown State University. In addition to her numerous publications in the areas of gender and technology, online learning, electronic portfolios, and faculty development, Blair currently serves as editor of both the international print journal Computers and Composition and its separate companion journal Computers and Composition Online.

ONNO W. PURBO holds a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from University of Waterloo, Canada is an educator and ICT evangelist. He has published 40+ books, including free ICT ebook for high school in 2008. The latest books in 2016 entitled, "Perjuangan Menyebarkan Internet" (Struggle in Deploying Internet) and "Buku Pegangan Internet untuk Desa" (Internet Handbook for Villages). He led the first Internet connection at ITB and use it to build the first education network. He liberates WiFi frequency, and introduces neighborhood network, wajanbolic antenna and OpenBTS cellular network. He led the first community telephony network over Internet, VoIP Merdeka, later known as VoIP rakyat and uses +62520 and +62521 area code. He currently actives in introducing e-learning, run the largest free e-learning servers with 17,000+ participants.

He is a technical committee member for IT Education of the Philippine Commission on Higher Education, and Executive-Director of the Asian University Digital Resource Network. Among his research interests is learning technology where he has been the recipient of some research grants. A United Board Fellow, and Dean of the College of Computer Studies, Silliman University.

CECILIA MURNIATI is a faculty member at Soegijapranata Catholic University in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. Cecilia Murniati’s research interest spans the fields of higher education policies and leadership studies, teaching and learning in higher education, and the integration of technology in the classrooms. She was instrumental in the early development and assessment of the University of Iowa’s The TILE (Spaces to Transform, Interact, Learn, Engage) program through her involvement in TILE-related policy studies. One of her newest projects is to be one of the editors for e-text book project in University Network for Digital Knowledge (UNDK), a project funded by the United Board.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Presenters should submit abstracts and short bios to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iclt17 or to this Abstract Submission page. Abstracts should be between 200 - 300 words, single spaced, Times New Roman 12, in MS-Word (.doc/.docx), normal margins. The bios should not exceed 50 words. Paper titles should be clear and concise. Presenters need to indicate the type of sessions they would like to present (poster, paper, or workshop).

Publication opportunities
Below are some publication opportunities for the submitted papers:
- ICLT2017 eProceedings (with ISBN). The proceeding will be published after the conference.
- Chapter Book. Selected papers will be published a chapter book form (with ISBN) after the conference.
- CELT Journal. Papers on language teaching, literature, and culture will have the opportunities to be published in CELT Journal (nationally accredited) whose contributors and readers come from Indonesia and around the world.
- SISFORMA. Conference papers related to information technology and information system may have the opportunities to be published in SISFORMA (indexed by DOAJ, Crossref, DOI).
- Computers and Composition and Computers and Composition Online. Papers related to intersection of technology and curricular innovation, theory-building, popular culture, language acquisition, and community activism may be submitted to Computers and Composition and Computers and Composition Online. Computers and Composition is indexed by SCOPUS.
The participants who are not able to meet the paper submission deadline will still be able to present, but the committee will not include their papers in the conference proceeding.
