ICFU '21: International Conference on Future is Urban: Livability, Resilience & Resource Conservation Institute of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University Ahmedabad, India, December 16-18, 2021

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Guideline for Abstract Submission:

• Abstracts would be acceptable in the English language only.
• An author may submit no more than two abstracts as the main author.
• Abstracts must indicate the theme under which the submissions are being made. Appropriate themes may be selected from the conference themes.
• Abstracts should only be submitted online.
• Abstracts should not be more than 300 words.
• Authors should indicate their submission as paper or poster. The Technical Committee holds the right to decide on the final allocation and presentation method.
• After submitting an abstract, the corresponding author will receive an email with an abstract id.
• Authors will have personal access and password codes in order to edit their abstracts.
• Abstract Submission deadline is 07th August 2021 15th August 2021.  All Corrections to abstracts should be done before 07th August 2021.
• The notification of acceptance/rejection of the abstracts submitted will be sent to you via email by 20th August 2021 5th September 2021.

Guidelines for Short Paper Submissions:

• On acceptance submitted abstract, the short paper must be submitted.
• The Final acceptance for the submitted paper shall be shared via email.
• The length of the final paper should be 1200 to 1500 words or up to 4 pages.

Guidelines for Final Paper Submissions:

• On acceptance submitted abstract, the final paper must be submitted.
• The Final acceptance for the submitted paper shall be shared via email.
• The length of the final paper should be 6000 to 7000 words.

• References should be cited according to the APA Style (seventh edition).
• Extended Abstract (Summary) will only be published in Conference Proceedings only if all the authors of the paper is registered before 15th October 2021

Publication

All submitted abstracts would undergo a double blind peer-review process. Selected Papers will be invited for presentation at the conference. The Extended Abstract (Summary) of the selected paper shall be published as part of the Conference Proceedings with ISBN number, subject to payment of applicable Registration fee and completion of Conference Registration. Paper presented at the ICFU’21 will undergo a separate referral process for publication in theme based edited volumes by Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group.
