We invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the 2018 International Conference on Forensic Medicine and Science (ICFMS) & International Conference on Forensic Science, Forensic Medicine and Criminology (INFOMEC).
Submission Guidelines
All abstracts must be original and not simultaneously submitted or published elsewhere. The following categories are welcome (but not limited to):
- Forensic Pathology
- Forensic Anthropology
- Forensic Entomology
- Forensic Odontology
- Forensic Radiology
- Forensic Science
- Forensic Toxicology
- Terrorism and Armed Conflict
- Violence Against Women and Vulnerable Persons
- New Forensic Technologies, Digital Evidence and Cybercrime
Submit your abstract of no more than 300 words to the following address by 16th April 2018: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icfms2018.
All authors who wish to submit their abstract must register as 2018 ICFMS & INFOMEC participants and pay a full registration fee. Here is the registration form for abstract submission: Registration For Conference Attendees And Abstract Submission. Registration is complete only when you have emailed the transaction receipt. We will send you a confirmation email once we received your transaction receipt.
Once the author has registered, there is no limit to the number of abstracts you can submit.
Abstracts of unregistered conference authors will be automatically withdrawn and not reviewed by 2018 ICFMS & INFOMEC Scientific Committee.

PLEASE NOTE:
- There is no limit to the number of authors per abstract; the presenting author should ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of abstract before submission to the organizers.
- Authors whose abstracts are selected will be requested to attend the conference and make the presentation in person either oral or poster presentation. e-poster is allowed for international participants after paying the assigned fee.
- Submission of abstract constitutes the authors' consent for printed and online publication by the organizers. Also, warrants that the abstract submitter is the sole owner and responsible of all information and content provided to the organizing committee.
- Please do not submit an abstract if you are not confident that you will be able to attend the conference and make the presentation.

- Author must disclose if the abstract has been previously published. If the abstract has been previously published, author should indicate the date and publication.

Abstract Formatting Guidelines
- Abstract must be submitted in English, in Word file, font Arial, size 10 with single line spacing.
- Maximum title limit: 100 characters
- Maximum word limit: 300
- Abstracts accepted in English only
- For original research, abstract is one paragraph contains: Introduction, Method, Result and Conclusion, No tables and figures are allowed, No references
- As for case report: Introduction, Case and Conclusion

Abstracts Notification of Acceptance and Non-Acceptance
- The 2018 ICFMS & INFOMEC Scientific Committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted based on a blind review.
- The 2018 ICFMS & INFOMEC will notify the authors about abstract acceptance or non-acceptance via email. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure their email address is correct and current. 2018 ICFMS & INFOMEC shall not be held responsible for notification emails not received due to incorrect email address information.
- If you do not receive a notification email by 25th April 2018, please contact 2018ncfms@gmail.com immediately to confirm your abstract acceptance or non-acceptance.

Poster Presentation Guidelines
- You will be notified by e-mail if your submitted abstract is selected as a poster presentation. You are required to prepare your poster with the following guideline:
- Please prepare the poster in one sheet; dimension should not exceed 594 mm W x 841 cm H (A1 size) and must be in portrait orientation (not landscpe).
- Title, authors’ names and affiliations must be presented at the top of the poster and should be at least 60 Arial font size and have a minimum 24 point font. The content of your poster should have a minimum 24 point font.
- Double-sided tape for poster mounting on display board will be provided at the Poster Desk (you also can be ready with your own pushpins just in case).
- At least one of the authors must be physically present during the poster display session.
- e-Posters is allowed only for non attending international participants:
- The electronic poster should be in PPT or PDF format to be displayed on multimedia screen.
- The electronic poster may include text, tables, figures & images but no videos or animations
Oral Presentation Guidelines
- 10 minutes of presentation; 5 minutes of Q&A session
- When preparing your Powerpoint slides we ask you to consider the following guidance:

Setting presentation: Put a short presentation of your work to a broad group of audience from various backgrounds in forensic medicine and sciences.

We suggest using font size of 16 pt or above to allow you to provide more textual detail than you would normally provide with a traditional oral presentation.

Use Microsoft Powerpoint and save as a PPT or PPTX file format.

The first slide should provide the title, authors and affiliations and an email contact address.

- Be sure to bring your presentation on a CD, DVD or memory disk. The use of personal laptops is not allowed.
- Material for presentation will be uploaded in the Speakers' Ready Room, at least 4 hours before the presentation.
- We encourage you to check your presentation in the Speakers' Ready Room well in advance.
