International Conference on Digital Learning and Technology 2021
“Emerging from VUCA Environment: Re-Shaping Higher Education in the New Normal”
It has been more than a year since Covid-19 pandemic struck the world unprepared, and dealing with the Covid-19 and its aftermath had been the imperatives of our existence. Indeed, it augured well with the outcry “imminent restructuring of the global economic order”. The well-being and survival of educational institutions were not spared then. Now that we knew the extent of the damages that was caused by Covid-19 pandemic, and henceforth able to assess the lessons of the past, both distant and recent, and on that basis, to think constructively about the future. Even when lockdown restrictions begin to ease, this conference will need to figure out how to operate in the new normal. Furthermore, this conference will provide a platform to share the experiences in the institution’s resiliency and ability to absorb a shock, and to emerge better in the VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) environment.
