1st International Conference for CBM in Aerospace
24-25 May 2022 in Delft, The Netherlands
The Delft University of Technology, in collaboration with H2020 ReMAP project partners (https://h2020-remap.eu/), has the pleasure to organise and announce the first conference entirely dedicated to the topic of Condition-based Maintenance (CBM) in the aerospace domain. It is our belief that current forums focus on parts of the CBM chain, do not specifically address the aerospace sector, or are commercially oriented. There is the need for a dedicated conference to get practitioners and researchers together to discuss research and promote development in the full CBM scope for the aerospace industry.
The 1st International Conference for Condition-based Maintenance in Aerospace (https://cbmacademy.eu/) will be held in Delft, The Netherlands, on 24-25 May 2022. The conference aims to create an international platform for academicians, researchers, managers, industrial participants, and students to share their research findings in reliability engineering, sensing technology, predictive algorithms, data science and IT, artificial intelligence for CBM, optimisation solutions, digital-twin models, and safety & certification related to CBM. Bringing together leading experts and promising young researchers, the conference will offer an opportunity for scientific and technical discussions in relatively small groups. The conference will have social events, technical demonstrations, and keynote talks on critical issues and applications. In addition, the conference will have a workshop intended to present the results of the H2020 ReMAP project.
Call for works
Prospective authors are invited to submit a maximum of 2-pages abstract. Both research and industry contributions are welcomed. Experts will review submitted abstracts based on significance, innovation, technical validity, clarity, and readability. The authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to present their work at the conference.
The abstracts can be submitted using the template and the submission system that will be soon available at our website - https://cbmacademy.eu/.
Authors with accepted abstracts are also invited to submit a full paper version of their work. The papers will also be reviewed by a panel of experts and published in the conference proceedings. The proceedings will be open access and stored in a public repository.
Special issues in journals of the area are being considered to publish high-quality papers of works presented at the conference.
