About ICBRI 2022
The objective of ICBRI 2022 is to present an international platform for showcasing recent research related to the areas of Business Research and Innovation. The conference intends to assemble leading researchers, academic scientists and practitioners from around the world to exchange and share their experiences and research results, to appreciate research talents and for motivating research spirit among students, research scholars, academicians.
The scope of the Conference covers the domains of Finance, Marketing, Operations & Information Systems Management, Business Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. This Conference provides a potent platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to share research and innovation, as well as to deliberate on recent challenges, and trends. Along with submissions in each domain area, we also encourage cross-domain submissions cutting across subject-areas. The conference will consist of presentations including refereed papers, invited sessions and panel discussions.

Venky Shankar
Ph.D. Coleman Chair Professor in Marketing Director of Research, Center for Retailing Studies Mays Business School Texas A&M UniversityDr. Venkatesh (Venky) Shankar is Coleman Chair Professor of Marketing and Director of Research at the Center for Retailing Studies in Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. His areas of specialization include artificial intelligence, digital business, marketing strategy, innovation, retailing, international marketing, and pricing.
He has been recognized as one among the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds by Thomson Reuters, as one among the Top 1% of scientists in marketing, and as a Top 10 scholar worldwide on innovation. He is a winner of the AMS Cutco/Vector Outstanding Marketing Educator Award for lifetime contributions to marketing, the Lifetime Achievement Award in Retailing from AMA, the Mahajan Award for Lifetime Contributions to Marketing Strategy from AMA, the Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIM, Calcutta, the Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT, Kharagpur, the Clarke award for the Outstanding Direct and Interactive Marketing Educator, the Long-term Impact Award for an IJRM article, the Green Award for the Best Article in JMR, the Lehmann Award for the best dissertation-based article in an AMA journal.
Dr. Shankar is co-editor of the Handbook of Marketing Strategy and author of Shopper Marketing. He has published in the JMR, Management Science, Marketing Science, JM, SMJ, HBR, SMR, JPPM, and JR. The Shankar-Spiegel Award is named in his honor. He is ex-President of the Marketing Strategy SIG, AMA and serves on the CMO council and B2B Leadership Board. He was also a two-term Academic Trustee of the MSI. He is editor emeritus of the Journal of Interactive Marketing (JIM), ex-associate editor of JMR, Area Editor of IJRM, and ex-associate editor of Management Science and Journal of Marketing. He serves on the policy boards of JR and JIM and on the editorial boards of Marketing Science and JAMS.
He is a three-time winner of the Krowe Award for outstanding teaching. He has been a visiting faculty at Stanford University, MIT, INSEAD, Singapore Management University, SDA Bocconi, Chinese European International Business School, and the Indian School of Business. He was selected as the 2014 Guru to deliver the Guruspeak lecture across India. He is a Research Fellow of Northwestern University’s Retail Analytics Council. Dr. Shankar received his BS in Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, and his Ph.D. in Marketing from Northwestern University.
Dr. Justin Paul
Professor of MBA & Chair/Director (Research), Universidad de Puerto Rico Editor In Chief- International Journal of Consumer Studies Associate Editor, European Management Journal & Journal of Strategic MarketingDr Justin Paul, serves as Editor-in-chief of A ranked International Journal of Consumer studies (IF 3.9), and as an Associate Editor of Journal of Business Research. A former faculty member with the University of Washington, he serves as Full Professor of PhD & MBA programs, University of Puerto Rico, USA (AACSB). He holds three honorary titles as 'Distinguished Professor' with three reputed universities including- Indian Institute of Management (IIM-K), and SIBM, Pune. He is known as an author/co-author of books such as Business Environment (4th ed), International Marketing, Services Marketing, Export-Import Management (2nd edition), Management of Banking & Financial Services by McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press & Pearson respectively. He is also an Associate Editor with European Management Journal, & Journal of Strategic Marketing. Dr. Paul introduced the Masstige model and measure for brand management, CPP Model for internationalization, SCOPE framework for Small firms and 7-P Framework for International Marketing. His articles have been downloaded over 800,000 times during the last six years. He is ranked among the world's top 1% highly cited researchers based on Web of Science statistics with citations increasing at 375 per month in 2021. An author of over 130 research papers in SSCI journals, Justin has over 70 papers are in A or A star journals. He has also served as an associate professor at Nagoya University, Japan and as Department Chair at IIM. In addition, he has taught full courses at Aarhus University- Denmark, Grenoble Eco le de Management-& University of Versailles -France, University-Lithuania, Warsaw -Poland and has been a visiting professor at University of Chicago, Vienna University- Austria, Fudan & UIBE-China, UAB- Barcelona and Madrid and has published three best selling case studies with Ivey & Harvard. He has visited over 60 countries as a visiting professor / speaker.
Dr. Ramzi A. Haraty

Haraty is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Scienceand Mathematics at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon. He received his B.S. and M.S.degrees in Computer Science from Minnesota State University - Mankato, Minnesota, and his Ph.D. inComputer Science from North Dakota State University - Fargo, North Dakota. His research interestsinclude database management systems, machine learning, and information security. He has well over110 books, book chapters, journal, and conference paper publications. He supervised over 110dissertations, theses, and graduate projects. He serves as the Secretary General of the Syndicate ofComputer Sciences in Lebanon. He is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery, Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, and the International Society for Computers andTheir Applications.

Paper Submission Guidelines
- Full paper should be original, unpublished and should not exceed 6000 words.
- Abstract should be limited to 250 words.
- The document must be in double space format using 12 point font size.
- The submission should contain: The title, name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), and e-mail address of each author.
- APA style for referencing should be followed.
- Abstract and full paper should be submitted in MS Word format.
Review Process
- All manuscripts are subject to review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. Manuscripts will be reviewed by peer-reviewers, whose identities will remain anonymous to the authors.
- Based on the reviewer’s comments, the organizing committee will take one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revisions
- Accept with minor revision
- Accept with major revision
- Non acceptance

Publishing for full papers
All accepted papers will be published in the Edited Book / Conference Proceedings.
Please note that you can attend the conference with the submission of abstract only. Authors, who wish to get their research paper published in the Edited Book / Conference Proceedings, need to submit their full research paper.
