ICBELTS 2027 (International Conference on Business, Economics, Literature, Technology and Society) is an international multidisciplinary conference hosted by St. Joseph's College of Commerce (Autonomous), Bengaluru, on 12–13 February 2027. The conference brings together academicians, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, practitioners, and research scholars to exchange ideas, present original research, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Centred on the theme "Envisioning Sustainable Global Futures: Converging Perspectives from Business, Economics, Literature, Technology and Society," the conference explores innovative approaches to addressing contemporary global challenges through the lenses of sustainability, responsible governance, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and human-centred development. Through keynote lectures, plenary sessions, technical paper presentations, and panel discussions, the conference aims to promote evidence-based research, policy dialogue, and practical solutions that contribute to resilient institutions, inclusive societies, ethical technological advancement, and the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract Submission

Abstract Requirements

• Length: Maximum 300 words (excluding title and keywords).
• Keywords: 3–5 keywords.
• Language: English.

Abstract Structure

The abstract should clearly present:

• Title of the Paper
• Research Background/Problem
• Objectives of the Study
• Methodology
• Key Findings (or Expected Outcomes for Work-in-Progress)
• Practical and Research Implications
• Keywords (3–5)

Formatting

• Font: Times New Roman
• Font Size: 12 pt
• Line Spacing: 1.5
• Alignment: Justified
• File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
• The final camera-ready paper for publication in the conference proceedings must not exceed six (6) pages in total. The page limit includes all text, title, abstract, keywords, tables, figures, charts, images, equations, appendices, acknowledgements, and references. Authors are requested to ensure strict compliance with the prescribed page limit, as manuscripts exceeding six pages may be returned for revision or may not be considered for publication.

Abstract Review

All abstracts will undergo an initial editorial review to assess:

Peer Review

All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers based on:

• Originality
• Relevance
• Methodological rigour
• Scholarly contribution
• Quality of analysis
• Practical implications
• Clarity of presentation

Originality and Publication Ethics

Authors must certify that the manuscript:

• is original and unpublished;
• is not under review elsewhere;
• complies with publication ethics and research integrity standards.

All papers will be screened for plagiarism. The overall similarity index, including appropriately disclosed AI-assisted content where applicable, must not exceed 10%.

Publication Opportunities

Accepted papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in the Conference Proceedings, subject to:

• successful peer review,
• editorial acceptance,
• compliance with publisher guidelines, and
• publication policies.

Selected papers may also be considered for publication in partner journals, subject to the respective publisher's editorial review, peer-review process, and indexing policies.
