The Institute of Biological Engineering (IBE) is a professional society that supports research, education, and professional practice in biological engineering. It also connects academia, industry, and government. The IBE 2027 Annual Conference brings together faculty, students, and industry professionals to share research and to grow the biological engineering community. This year’s theme, “Biologically-Inspired Design for Impact on Everyday Life,” showcases how advances in our field are improving the way people live. Students at all levels are strongly encouraged to attend and present.
Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following categories are welcome:
- Oral presentations describing completed or ongoing research, novel technologies, or educational innovations relevant to biological engineering
- Posters describing preliminary results, work in progress, student research, or emerging ideas in biological engineering
