Submissions to present academic papers are now being accepted for the 10th Annual Harry Potter Academic Conference (October 15-16, 2021). College students, graduate students, faculty, and community members are invited to submit abstract-style proposals. (High School students are invited to submit their full papers, following the guidelines below, to be considered for the special High School Student conference section. September 6th (9/6/21) is the deadline to submit abstract proposals, which are reviewed on a rolling basis.
ONCE YOUR ABSTRACT HAS BEEN REVIEWED AND ACCEPTED FOR THE CONFERENCE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PREPARE A 20-MINUTE RECORDING OF YOUR PRESENTATION (DUE 10/4/21). THE RECORDING WILL BE USED AS YOUR CONFERENCE PRESENTATION, REGARDLESS IF YOU ARE ATTENDING IN-PERSON OR ONLINE. AUDIENCE QUESTIONS WILL BE LIVE, ALLOWING INTERACTIONS WITH ALL ATTENDEES.
1. Complete and save the Author Information & Consent Form (this form includes information for multiple presenting authors for a single presentation). Free Adobe reader sofware is required to open the pdf file. The Author Consent Form is available at: http://www.harrypotterconference.com/submit.html
2. Prepare your Proposal Title and Abstract (200 words maximum). (**ONLY High School Students are asked to submit their entire paper according to the guidelines listed to the right.) Include the Section Code listed in the "Easy Chair Submission Guidelines" at: http://www.harrypotterconference.com/submit.html
3. Paste your title and abstract info into the appropriate fields on the EasyChair submission platform. (You will need to first register with EasyChair if you have not already done so.)
4. Upload your completed Author Info/Consent form (pdf) as the "Paper" file upload for your EasyChair submission.
