Call for One-Page Abstracts

The 2026 International Workshop on Digital Twins for Chronic Disease Monitoring and Personalized Healthcare will be held in conjunction with the IEEE EMBS International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI 2026) on December 12, 2026, in Hong Kong.

The workshop will explore healthcare digital twins for continuous monitoring, early detection, and personalized management of chronic diseases. We invite one-page abstracts presenting research, emerging ideas, case studies, prototypes, or work in progress related to healthcare digital twins and personalized healthcare.

Topics of interest include:

• Multimodal health data integration
• Wearable, mobile, and physiological sensing
• Smartphone-based health monitoring
• Mechanistic and physiology-based models
• Machine learning and data-driven predictive models
• Hybrid mechanistic and AI-based models
• Disease progression detection and prediction
• AI-assisted disease assessment and clinical decision support
• Personalized disease management
• Clinical integration of healthcare digital twins
• Healthcare accessibility and continuity of care

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should be limited to one page, written in English, and submitted in PDF format. The abstract should clearly describe the motivation, proposed approach or study, key findings or expected contribution, and relevance to the workshop. Submissions should include the title, author names, affiliations, and contact information for the corresponding author.

Selected abstracts will be invited for oral presentation at the workshop.
