The Human-Computer Interaction Slovenia (HCI SI) is the sixth conference in a series organised by the Slovene HCI community (ACM Chapter Bled). The primary target audience are HCI researchers and practitioners from academia and industry from the Alps-Danube-Adriatic basin; however, we welcome contributions from beyond this region.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Research papers 5 to 15 pages long including references. The length should be proportional to its contribution.
- Poster papers 2 to 5 pages long including references.Posters are particularly suitable for showcasing BSc/MSc students’ work as well as work-in-progress. The submission is a description of the work in the form of a scientific paper (extended abstract). The authors will have to prepare the poster and bring it along to the conference.
- Demos submissions 2 to 5 pages long including references. After the notification of acceptance, the authors of accepted demos should contact the program chairs for the details about the set-up requirements.
We also welcome papers presenting partial/initial results if authors wish to submit a longer version to another conference or journal. For authors who wish to publish their original results elsewhere we also recommend to describe their methods and results in a more general way to avoid self-plagiarism. The same version as the one submitted to HCI SI should not be under concurrent review for publication by another conference or journal.
The conference uses the single-column CEUR-ART style template available at http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip. We also prepared an Overleaf template at https://www.overleaf.com/read/vgccthngprgf. After clicking the link choose “copy project” in the Overleaf menu. You need to be registered and logged into Overleaf in order to be able to do that. The page lengths below refer to the CEUR-ART template.
We will use a relaxed approach to anonymity where the authors choose what to disclose. The submission system EasyChair will be configured as double-blind so that the reviewers will not see the authors’ names unless the authors disclose them in the paper. Hence, it is up to the authors’ decision whether they wish to disclose their identity in the submitted PDF (thus being subject to a single-blind process) or not (double blind).
