Abstract registration deadline | February 29, 2020 |
Submission deadline | March 10, 2020 |
The energy requirement is the basic need of every citizen of the nation and it is a never-ending process. Also, the rate of increment is higher than the exploration of new energy resources. Apart from other sources of energy, electrical energy is the purest and cleanest form of energy. As a result, in daily life the use of energy in electrical form is huge. On the other hand, energy loss or wastage in end-use may lead to poor efficiency. In this scenario, energy efficiency has become a burning issue nowadays. The Internet of Energy (IoE), with the integration of advanced information and communication technologies (ICT), has led to a transformation of traditional networks to smart systems. In practice, the technological development for energy management for the reduction in energy consumption should include the varying characteristics of different loads. Therefore, an ideal smart energy system needs to have Smart Sensors, Smart Communication, Smart Techniques and Smart Utilization.
IoE plays a very important role in energy management from the remote localities and in monitoring the smart grid systems and applications. Lack of standardized information and communication technology (ICT) may limit the effective deployment of sensors and monitoring systems in smart systems, which in turn engenders hurdles in leveraging all the benefits of smart grids. Also, the energy loss in operations or processes can be reduced if suitable strategies are taken with prior information. In this regard, the IoE has revolutionized the research and practice on energy efficiency and the smart systems for industrial and smart city applications.
Submission Guidelines
Researchers and professionals are invited to submit a 2-4 pages chapter proposal clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter by March 10th, 2020.
