The German Law and Economics Association (Gesellschaft für Recht und Ökonomik e.V.) invites paper submissions for its 18th Annual Conference:
GLEA 2021
July 22–23, 2021, Freie Universität Berlin, Local organizer: Andreas Engert
We welcome submissions of papers on any topic in law and economics. Submission of extended abstracts is acceptable, but priority will be given to completed manuscripts. We encourage submissions by young researchers at the PhD level to present and discuss their work with more experienced scholars.
Paper submissions: easychair.org/conferences/?conf=glea21.
Submission deadline: March 30, 2021.
Depending on the public health situation, the conference will be held as an online, offline, or hybrid event. The conference language is English.
We will communicate acceptance decisions in late April 2021. If your paper is accepted, you will need to send the complete manuscript to your discussant no later than July 1.
We will convey information on the conference format (online/offline/hybrid), registration, the preliminary program, and accommodation in early May 2021.
If the conference can be held offline, the attendance fee will be €120 (€60 for PhD candidates), which includes the conference dinner on July 22. We reserve the right not to refund the fee should you later have to cancel.
As in previous years, GLEA might be able to offer support for travel and accommodation expenses to younger researchers without travel budgets from their universities.
The annual assembly of the members of GLEA will take place during the conference.
