The 15th International Conference on Flow Processes in Composite Materials (FPCM-15) will be hosted by the Composites Manufacturing and Simulation Center of Purdue University and will be held in the Indiana Manufacturing Institute during July 15-17, 2020, in West Lafayette, IN, USA. The conference covers both well-established topics of previous FPCM conferences and new topics based on the expertise of the hosting country in simulation of manufacturing processes in composite materials and structures, such as, composites extrusion deposition additive manufacturing; anisotropic molding flows for high volume fraction fiber, polymer composites; hybrid molding of continuous and discontinuous fiber composites; and combined infusion and squeeze flow. One of the primary goals of the conference is to encourage the intellectual talent of the FPCM Community to contribute to the growing challenges in developing optimum manufacturing approaches in light weighting of land based and aerospace vehicles of composite materials, as well as, alternative energy systems. The conference is the 15th in a series devoted to the manufacturing of polymer matrix composites and related topics. Previous meetings were held in the United States (2004), France (2006), Canada (2008), Switzerland (2010), New Zealand (2012), The Netherlands (2014), Japan (2016) and Sweden (2018).
In order to properly accommodate the attendees and ensure a successful 15th International Conference on Flow Processes in Composite Materials (FPCM-15) at the Indiana Manufacturing Institute, only 150 registrants will be accepted. Laboratory tours and demonstrations will be an important part of the Conference. To ensure participation in the Conference, early registration is recommended.
The conference registration fee of $600 will provide for refreshments at breaks, lunches during the conference and a formal dinner to be held in the Shivley Club of the Ross-Ade Stadium. Prior to the Conference, a one-day workshop on Composites Manufacturing Simulation will be presented by the Composites Manufacturing Simulation Center personnel on July 14, at a cost of $200 for conference participants.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another conference. Abstracts of up to two pages are requested with paper submissions required following abstract acceptance.
