Introduction
Connected sustainable mobility systems are critical to curb growing congestion inside cities, improve mobility and reduce negative environmental impacts. Efficient fleet management and operations planning of these systems is vital to improve transport efficiency and reduce non value added costs. The book will provide valuable knowledge on how such systems should be devised and how technology can be used in better ways for sustainable transport of goods and people.
Objective
The book will provide modeling approaches and practical examples for fleet management and operations planning of connected sustainable mobility systems. Ground, rail, air and marine transportation systems will be covered with particular focus on technology application for sustainable transport of goods and people. Best practices and case studies will be covered. It will serve as a useful resources to academicians and practitioners working in the area of connected sustainable mobility systems.

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before January 29, 2020, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by February 12, 2020 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by April 12, 2020, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/con... prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
