Call for Papers
FLINS, an acronym originally introduced in 1994 for Fuzzy Logic and Intelligent Technologies in Nuclear Science, is now extended into a well-established international research forum to advance the foundations and applications of computational intelligence for applied research, particularly for complex engineering and decision support systems. The principal mission of FLINS is bridging the gap between machine intelligence and real complex systems via joint research between universities and international research institutions, encouraging interdisciplinary research and bringing multi-discipline researchers together.
As the fifteenth in its series of conferences, FLINS 2022 will be held jointly with the 17th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE2022). The conference will be held in Tianjin, China. Tianjin is the first batch of coastal open cities located in north China. Its name "Tianjin" means "the place where the emperor crossed the river", where the Haihe River connects the imperial capital (Beijing) with Bohai Sea. Tianjin is also the city with the highest density and higher education in China. It has an important position in the country, which is full of creativity.
All papers (oral and poster presentations) accepted for FLINS 2022 will be published by World Scientific as a book, which will be included in the ISI proceedings and in EI Compendex for indexing as well as indexed in Scopus. Special issues of SCI-indexed journals will be devoted to a strictly refereed selection of extended papers.
FLINS 2022 invites contributions related to all aspects of theoretical analysis, algorithm development and practical applications in computational intelligence and its application, artificial intelligence and robotics, including but not limited to the following technical areas:
