FIRSTTW-2017 is The FIRST Regional Symposium for Asia-Pacific that will be hosted by APNIC in Taichung, Taiwan. The event will be a plenary session held on September 11, 2017.
FIRST is looking for speakers that would like to present at this Regional Symposium. This is a GREAT opportunity to give something back to FIRST and the industry, while practicing your speaking skills and sharing your hard work.

Submission Guidelines
Any novel ideas, techniques, case studies, or research related to incident and threat response are welcome. Some suggested topics are as follows:
Creative incident response techniques
Indicators of compromise and how detect/mitigate
Criminal underground
IoT security
Machine Learning/Deep Learning Application on incident response.
Crypto-Currency/Block Chain Security
For your submission, please provide the following information:
Title
Brief Summary (Abstract)
Presenter's Name, Affiliation, and short biography
Estimated Time (45 mins + 10 for questions is typical)
Proposal submissions end date: August 15th, 2017.
Please note that this Regional Symposium is a community event. FIRST does pay speaker fees and not cover any travel and accomodation costs of the accepted speakers.
Venue
The conference will be held in Splendor Hotel, Taichung.
